Forums - Sony - Capcom acknowledges Resident Evil PSP petition.

http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/24/capcom-interested-in-resident-evil-pspetition/ Yep. Since this actually asked for something, unlike the Devil May Cry 4 petition, Capcom realizes there is actual gamer interest in a PSP Resident Evil.* I signed it, even though I don't have a PSP yet, since I honestly would love to see what it would be like. *Apparently some of the signers are just bashing the system, but even bashing is interest (look at Transformers).

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

You know, after the whole "I don't want my RPGs on a small handheld screen," argument a lot of people mentioned, a game like RE for me would loose what makes it the game it is on a screen the size of a PSP. But it is nice that they acknowledged it and if people want the game that way, why not. I'd just rather they focus on the home console versions of the RE series.

To cash in my CC rewards points for $300 in Circuit City gift cards to purchase a 360 or not: That is the question.

I wonder if all of this just cropped up from that post on here from the guy that supposedly created it in the first place.

 What makes you think they can't focus on both? It's not as though they don't have enough resources.

@ceres

With the PSP light you wouldn't have to play Resident Evil or any RPG on a small screen. You can plug it into your TV.

@ roadkillers

I read this on joystiq myself...

 Okay...... Or..... I could just play the home console game and skip all that.
