Since year's beginning I spent ~350€ to upgrade my PC and I'll spend another 150 to 350€ depending if I'll simply tweak and complete the new config once bought the essential or I'll add a new LCD monitor (not strictly necessary yet, my old 17" CRT is still alive, I bought it when the old one died and LCD's I was seing around were still meh for my tastes and too expensive for their quality) or a steering wheel or both.
And I'll spend another ~100€ for budget edition games.
So the total will be from ~600 to ~800€, but not only for gaming, my old desktop is getting really old and I'm not changing it with a monster PC, but with a low to mid range with low power consumption and low noise components, and it will have more than twice performing CPU and more than 4 times its RAM anyway.
And a bigger than my current desktop case that doesn't get me mad when I must put my hands into it
Initially I'll use 790GX chipset onboard graphics, as it will be more than enough for the games I'm playing and it will be for those I'm going to start too.
