anyway, im getting both, but if i had to choose between the two at this point, id say madworld, just because RE5 feels nothing like RE anymore.

I have both consoles and I'm getting RE4 unless reviewers say its really bad..and not getting Madworld no matter how good reviewers say it is.

I own consoles on which both are being released and I'll be getting MadWorld before RE5 for sure. I still haven't gotten around to getting myself to give in to RE5 despite owning the first four iterations. The less likely I am to get RE5 the more likely I am to get SFIV, which is coming out soon so I may just end up waiting for a long while for RE5 if I get it at all.

Well I own both consoles and will probably pick up RE5 day one and Madworld once I finish RE5, although knowing how games are released down under one or both may be delayed. >

All I know is I'm buying MadWorld and not RE5.

(I have MadWorld pre-ordered, but may ultimately have to wait a few weeks to pick up the game due to monetary issues.  :( )

I'll get both these sweet looking games, so they won't be hurt on my account.

I need to know more about how MW plays before a decision is made. It looks good from the vids but could be really repetitive. RE5 demo disappointed me so won't be getting that at full price but the trump card is SFIV, that's a must have for me.

OT - I can't see RE5 having much of a direct effect on MW sales. No hype and no advertising could cause this to FAIL for Sega. (and no, it won't get to 1m)

Of course it won't. The games are of different genres released in different consoles. Most people don't own multiple consoles, so they wouldn't affect each other.
