jesus, people here that haven't even played MK vs DC are jumping in the hate train, that's ridiculous

I loved MK vs DC, even got the platinum on it, always had been a big MK fan myself, i mean, the special moves work better, the blocking system and combo system work better, that's my opinion.

The gameplay is really good and fluid, the balancing on the characters is not outstanding, but if you are a really good player you can beat a cheap player.

The violence is not the same of the oldest mortal kombats

And you are up for a real challenge if you try to beat the kombo challenges, bigger challenge than getting 10 wins in a row in SF4

I played MK Vs. DC, kicked ass in a couple of multi-player games (using Liu Kang and Baraka from memory), completely avoided the story mode, and will probably never play it again.

I haven't played SF IV , but based on the pedigree, I say SF IV takes it. I was always a big Street Fighter fan (I even remember the arcade version of SF with the pressure sensitive buttons!).

Since Midway is now bankrupt, there won't be any true MK game.

SFIV easily. You get balanced game play, full 2d to 3d fighting transition and most likely one of the best lag free online experiences (from what early reviews are saying) not to mention BALANCED. True, you'll probably get your ass kicked by experienced SF vets but this game will be a must own.

i'm dreaming with you man.  been waiting 9 years since the second one came out.  here's to hoping.
