I'm sure they will both have motion sensor, definately the ps4 since the ps3 already has motion sensor.
Well I think it's pretty much a given both Microsoft and Sony will once again copy Nintendo and introduce motion sensing controllers for their next consoles. Maybe not necessarily a remote + nunchuk combo clone, but somthing with IR & motion sensing nonetheless. Anyone thinking they'll stick to regular controllers is just kidding themselves.

I am talking about wiimote style controllers.
The PS3 pad is similar do Microsoft sidewinder something-something that was realeased back in 2001 I think...
Don't think so... it is a gimmick...
Evan Wells (Uncharted 2): I think the differences that you see between any two games has much more to do with the developer than whether it’s on the Xbox or PS3.
It's only a matter of months before the remote and the nunchuk will became the "standard" controller, when the Wii crosses the 50% line.
After that, it will be considered the standard/normal/classic/main controller. it
No one will ever try to release anything only with this old-school version, it would be as stupid as releasing a consoles with joysticks only.

I'm not going to make a prediction for Microsoft and Sony. I know that Nintendo is going to make their controllers primarily motion based - or I think they will, unless they come up with something new again.
I do know, though, that the traditional gamepad is slowly, slowly going the way of the dinosaur. Damn shame, considering how long I've been using them, but that is how the wind is blowing.
I will buy either Microsoft or Sony's next console and not the other if they stick with only the traditional controller (minus motion control).
I like the wii mote and nunchuck design, except for the lack of functional buttons (4 of them = c + z + a + b), which really bothers me. Also (i know there's a 3rd party accessory to negate this) I dislike the cable that connects the wii-mote to the nunchuck. I've gone wireless, I can't go back (unless I'm playing a retro console).

A market crushing gimmick let me tell you...
If there's a console without IR / motion sensing, it'll probably be crushed. Nintendo is the most likely candidate to take the lead of next gen, which will lead to third party support - if there's a console that cannot handle ports from the system, that can only be bad news. 50+% of the market (will) have adopted motion sensing, why block them all out by staying last-gen?
I think it'd be almost as crazy as a PSP2 without a touch screen. Imagine that? What would even be the point of upgrading... right now my dream console is a Wii HD, I can't see hardware upgrades beyond PS360's power doing that much for me.
Personally I'd like the change, the Wiimote is easily my favorite controller so far. It'll only be improved upon from here on out (as the NES was). RIP (traditional) gamepads!
