For a comparison. Lost Kingdoms (Rune in Japan) sold 41,952 total copies. So... yeah 1K a week ain't that bad considering how simlar the games seem to be gameplay wise.

Did this game remind anyone of zelda? It reminded me of it because of the way you had to figure out how to beat the boss. Like which folks to use.

the only thing I couldnt figure out was how to kill the flying things otherwise they handed you how exactly to kill everything.

What did ppl think of the gfx. I was quite amazed. The ground textures in the girls realm (sorry for the name of the place) was awesome. I saw no jaggy lines either. I was rather impressed with the gfx in the demo and the game play was nice. I do love the sixaxis in Folklore. Kinda felt like a Ghostbuster dragging them in :P

hmm i never thought of the ghostbusters feel.. lol interesting way of thinking about it.

Thats probally the best part of the game. Sixaxis. It probally gets boring after a while though unless they change it up.

well you an knock around a while bunch and see how many you can absorb at once, plus with 100 different ways to defeat different things there has to be quite a bit of entertainment in that.

I thought that the demo of Folklore was pretty darn entertaining and that it should do well overall. It has some cool implementations of the six axis and a fun gameplay from what I've seen. Not to mention it's absolutely beautiful.
Now I'm debating on if I will have enough time to play this game.
My pokemon brings all the nerds to the yard. And they're like, "You wanna trade cards?" Damn right, I wanna trade cards. I'll trade this, but not my charizard.
First week sale is out.
Thread title can replaced by "Folklore... why did this game fail in US..."
