I didn't mean that it would be better on Wii, I simply think that the game was overlooked because it wasn't on a huge system.

EDIT because of bad marketing, it wasn't much buzz around the game, not like Gundam or Everybody Golf 5 

 well they uped the marketing if you include they showed it at E3 (did they show it at GC?)

I just realized this game actually brings a fighting system thats actually NEW to the genre.

Neither is oblivion or plenty of games in japan that sell well.

If IGN rates this game below an 8.5 I'm going to be shocked, the graphics are beautiful and the gameplay is fresh and fun.

The point I'm trying to make however is that just saying it doesn't sell because it's a JRPG is stupid. It's bad form for a forum for a "Sales" site.

It'd be as silly as saying an game didn't sell because "It isn't a FPS."

There is always more too it. FPS don't sell in Japan yet some will still sell. Some Jrpgs won't sell well in America, yet others will. There is always more to the story then "That doesn't just sell there".

The game itself has a lot in it that theoretically should of connected to the Japanese audience. It didn't however. Most likely it was do to the things highlighted in that review.

Umm Folklore isn't even a RPG its more of a action game with creature abilities. the only part of the game with RPG elements is the fact the the creature abilites level up.

 its an action RP, FFXIII (or is is FFvXIII) will be a full action RPG. FFXII is close to one but holds a slight bit of a traditional RPG.
