well, in fairness Nintendo does this too, Metroid Prime, Zelda: TP, Mario Galaxy all seem to be at or near their launch prices. Thankfully in the case of Nintendo though their games are cheaper to begin with, so it's not quite as bad.

Yeah all three of them are guilty of this, I think Folklore is still $60 if you can find it. The 1st Gears was $60 until the week before Gears 2 got released.

OT: I plan on getting F.E.A.R. 2 when it drops in price,  I got too many other games to play for the time beingf

Nintendo games take way too long to drop in price, I remember waiting forever for Double Dash and Metroid Prime 2 to drop below $50.

I find it mind boggling that Golden Axe beast rider is still $59.99.

I'm waiting for Ratchet and Clank Tools of Destruction to drop in price. I'd say Heavenly Sword could easily add some numbers if it is turned to Greatest Hits in NA. Folklore too but it is so bizarre xP, never speant that much time reading a game before...

Maybe weak dollar has something to do with slow price drops. Here Heavenly Sword, Unchardet and Ratchet and Clank Tools of Destruction have been platinium titles ages.

yeah I think F.E.A.R. 2 looks like a pretty good shooter and I liked the first and this is definately an improvement. I just got so many other games to play right now I don't want to pay 60 bucks for it.  Especially since I'll only play the campaign and not the multiplayer.  I'll pick it upfor 40 bucks or so in like 3-4 months probably.
