Alone an Elite or Brute would be a bossfight for Snake - and Master Chief kills hundreds and thousends of them. So Snake isn't real competition for Master Chief.

Look, this discussion is irrelevant (and that is why I am not answering, mesoteto - though actually I think there are three or four other Spartans who are alive as of the end of Halo 3, at least one of whom is retired with children). We are not asking who would kick whose ass in a scenario in which they are shunted into a different universe with an alternative history. We are being asked which character, as they are, would kick the other's ass. No MJOLNIR, no weapons, the Master Chief still trumps Solid Snake.

its not fanboyism, do you even know what the ODST's are? they are perfect men. The elite of the Elite which have proven themselves countless times in battle inorder to deserve such a rank.

Spartans are beyond that. Litterally they are like God's among men. Snake is not that at all and is never portrayed to be like that in any MGS game. He's just a damn good soldier and the most Elite of soldiers. Just like an ODST. John is beyond that which is why a character like him is only possible in a SCI FI based universe. People as freakishly powerful as him just don't exist in real life.

Raiden like cant die. And he can cut people up with a sword in his mouth. They are better to compare IMO then snake and MC.
