Bring back the boomerang!!!
Gimme a dualshock with replacable batteries and I am set. The Dualshock is old... and its still around for a reason. Its like a fine ale.
Mm ale.
gimme a dual shock 4 with the same design a bit heavier same large analog sticks but just with a little more resistance without turning into a 360 controller. the triggers need to be fixed too
PLAYSTATION®3 is the future.....NOW.......B_E_L_I_E_V_E
Consoles owned: Game Cube, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, Nintendo DS, PSP, PS1, PS2, PS3.
My prediction: NATAL WILL NOT help 360 sales. Maybe a 50-100k boost week 1, then a 30-70 k boost week 2, and back to the norm again after 3-5 weeks.
hmm.. i’d say it’s great at whOt it does for its system
changing it might not be suitable to many of PS3 owners
if motion proves to not be a fad (and proves to move systems) and is still around a few years from now,
maybee they can keep the PlayStation controller look
and have it detachable to support motion
sorta like havin tha option to split it in half and let tha casuals have a way w/ it
completely support motion and fully cordless
that’d bee cool [which will eliminate cosmetic accessories(i.e., pom poms), which i’m perfectly fine with] LOL
other than that, they can keep the same design and maybe an option to replace analog sticks and optimizable response systems (sensitivity)
Dualshock 4 with improved capabilities, also TOUCH SENSE... that would be an AMAZING addition, seriously, also the whole break away Dualshock 4 idea would be pretty cool too. Keep the same general design but add something along those lines to further immersion. Also the idea for more weight and make the r2/l2 concave and get better analogs are dead on.

How about including some sort of a ball instead of the right analog stick? For fps and more? Ok, on second thought it might actually suck for fps. But they should try and mimic the mouse's capabilities.
Edit: And yes, I know of the FragFX. I just would like the speed and accuracy of a mouse.
And no, I'm not trying to start the mouse vs hm hm debate here. Just Interested in your ideas:)
A Dualshock with 14 bit D-pad response (PS3 is 12 bit, PS2 10 bit) , Keep Analogue sticks where they are. Touch sensitive face buttons ( Pressure sensitive too- But with the ability to turn off touch sensitive ) . better triggers
I think the odds that sony keeps the same controller next generation are slim. After losing their market leading position to an inferior piece of hardware with innovative controls they must be planning something . They'll probably keep the current controller to be sort of like the wiis classic controler just to keep their hardcore fans from having complete meltdowns.
I hope they get a new controller. I cant standz the left analog placement, the weight or the triggers. I was interested in the boomerang controller. I'd say keep the dualshock, but offer a new brand name 2nd option.
