Alright who would play an MMO with a battle system similar to god of war, but with massive amounts of customazation and such. More ways to use exp. more weapons etc etc. I think sony could take the world of God of War and make one of the most popular MMOs ever.

like WoW.

I think it would destroy WoW as far as the fun factor goes. It will certainly have much better graphics. The world may not start off as huge but I am sure it can become a monster. The battle system could be far better then wow also.

Also it would net Sony loads of money every month.

eh actually the idea sounds good but i think put into actual practice the game would suck. I just don't see how you can have a combat system like that work on an MMO.

Well some changes would need to be made and stuff. But a few games already have more hack and slash systems then WoW. 2 moons you constantly attack and the skills recharge faster. In god of war online, it could have less on PvP and more on PvM. Going around the worlds with buddies and stuff. And you could keep the combo system in there. I doubt the chains that kratos use would be there too. They are over powered.

True with some heavy adjustments to combat it could be really cool.  The universe of God of War is an excellent setting.

The monsters would be very unique to MMOs. No more trolls and elves running around! Instead you can be humans/maybe some other mythical beast that Kratos has met. Add in all sorts of weapons spears halberds sword axes bows etc etc. I think it would be a great Idea for Sony.I am sure 80%of God of War fans would want to play it at least at some point.

let's take a game that sells 3.2 then 2.4, then 1.6 (decreasing sales for each iteration) to make the best MMO ever!!

from all the looks of it, GoW 3 will not sell more than 3M especially if you consider userbase...

Why would 10M+ user be interested in an MMO based on this?

(don't misunderstand me, I love GoW and I have all 3 games)

. . . Because it would be new and different? So many MMOs have the old school system. Something fresh and new would be nice. Also I don't think the numbers they have here are correct.

It would be nice, but I'd prefer some sort of MMOFPS in the Resistance (or Killzone) universe.
