Gamecock doesn't develop games, they only publish them, so they have no relevance in this discussion. I believe the developer is relatively unknown and new, so it makes Velvet Assassin a bit of a mystery. Also a lot of the 360/PC shared titles that aren't high profile usually turn out either mediocre or downright awful. I'm holding out hope though, because it does look interesting.

I think gamecock has plenty of relevance to this topic. I mean, if a game published by destineer, phoenix games, or heaven forbid data design, wouldn't you assume the games they would put out are bad? I do think that this is a different case though. I still dislike gamecock, or more likely, their image.

does anybody listen too me i said gamecock is gone forever it was bought by southpeak and so they lost there name they r now southpeak

I believe the strategies are different. Data Design, Conspiracy, etc. I believe buy out poorly made completed games for cheap and publish them under full knowledge of the general quality of the title. Gamecock has been funding development of games and they have just had questionable results thus far with their developers. However they've still had games like Mushroom Men and Dementium the Ward that have shown to not be utter crap.

gamecock was a publisher for indie studios.ive heard them called that several times and thats i they had sucky games because they had small budgets
