Seeing how I'm being hassled out of my money over here when I buy games, I intend to start buying games online more often.

I have recently discovered videogamesplusonline.com which is cheaper for me (BY FAR).

Since I don't have a VISA card (and don't intend on getting one), I wish to use Paypal. 

I would like to know whether anyone has had any problems with this service and what their experiences were / are with Paypal.


Feel free to give me any other games-selling sites that you think may help me in my quest for cheaper gaming >_>

My experience hasn't been a very good one so far.

I wanted to buy Steam CD keys from this site. But I had to use Paypal. Registered, put debit card info, waited for Paypal code, didn't work. Asked for another, again didn't work. Contacted them said they've been having trouble confirming cards from Romania, now I have to fax them the info.

I did manage to get one game, though.

I've done a few ebay transactions via paypal.

I had no problems on my end and the sellers had none on theirs.

I have had good experiences. I use my debit card. When it wanted me to activate it it took less than an hour and showed up on my online banking list. Paypal is used in alot of places and if you have troubles on ebay with bad sellers, etc paypal will return your funds. I think it is a useful service.

The biggest question is, IF I do encounter problems with a site or something, how the hell do I prove that I haven't received said package? :-/

should talk to the site first, if they try and say they cant do anything use the paypal "open a dispute" thing. I had someone I bought a game from fall off the end of the earth and i ended up getting my money back.

Paypal is a very good service, used it before for ebay purchases and even to wire money to a friend who also had paypal. The one time I had a dispute paypal was fairly quick in handling the matter and gave me a full refund.
