I was wondering if Halo 2 is compatible with the Windows 7 Beta. I have not had the chance to play Halo 2 on PC because I never upgraded to Vista but now that I have the Windows 7 beta would it work?

I think it is. If it doesn't install run it in compatibility mode under vista.
