I have been thinking about getting a 360 for perhaps gears and Ninja Gaiden 2. Are there any good exculsives coming to the 360 for 2009? Also please dont say Halo3ODST. I am not a Halo fan. I wouldn't mind trying out Halo Wars because I am a huge RTS buff.

You'll love Halo Wars, like you said, if you like RTS games. Other then that:

Ninja Blade

Alan Wake(maybe)

Mass Effect 2

Splinter Cell 5: Conviction

and thats just off the top of my head. What you should really check out is its back catalog.

What is mass effect about? And Ninja Blade? I'm not a huge JRPG fan(other then FF) so SO4 is out for me. whats Alan Wake? I don't like Splinter Cell games either.


Most of the 360 games don't really make me want to play. Don't get me wrong Gears and and gears2 i have played the hell outta with friends. Any good action adventure games? I haven't played one of those in a while.

Mass Effect is kind of an action-adventure. It's an RPG that includes Gears of War-style combat.

Fable 2 is also a good choice for Zelda-esque gameplay. Kameo is a good one, too.

Mass effect is an epic 3-part Sci-Fi trilogy. Alan Wake is a survival horror game made by Remedy, the Max Payne guys. Its also one of the biggest budget Survival horror games I think. Ninja Blade is action adventure.

Halo 3 ODST, Forza Motorsport 3, Alan Wake, Halo Wars, Star Ocean, Ninja Blade, RACE Pro, Huxley, Mass Effect 2, Splinter Cell Conviction, and Two World 2. Those are the only ones I can think of.

I played Fable 2 at a friends. It wasn't as good as the first one IMO. TBH I was spoiled by Oblivion probably.


By gears of war style combat, are you referring to the cover system? Or the 3d person gunplay? Or the chainsaws? lol

Will Halo Wars ever move it to the PC? I don't think I will enjoy an RTS without a mouse and keyboard.(unless you can use those for somethings like on the PS3?)

Sharky - it's a mix. It has the cover system and rudimentary combat (gunplay and melee) of Gears, but also has 'magic' in it by the way of Techs and Biotic attacks.

If you liked Oblivion, I think you'd really like Mass Effect.

And Halo Wars was built for a controller, so it will do just fine without a K/B & M

Why don't you also check out some of the past Xbox 360 exclusives? They may be older but they are still great games. I personally purchased Crackdown for the Halo 3 beta but I really ended up enjoying the game.
