So if someone sends you a bag of money to write shit, that would make you brave? I don't know the reasons for their extreme bias, I just wanted to provide you some food for thought.

Regarding Halo 3 it may have been brave, as the game was really by far too overhyped compared to what was being offered. I and so many others expected so much more from this flagship title. Really you should run Halo 3 and Killzone 2 side by side, Edge is just plain laughable.

I wasn't comparing Metroid and R2, I was just giving examples of other crappy EDGE scores.

Reviews are supposed to help buyers have informed decisions about buying games.


If the majority of publications are voting 9/10's-10/10's for the game then , it's they are being very misinforming or Edge is because everyone else seems to think Killzone 2 is a good game at worst and an amazing game at best.

I think i'll stick with the majority of publications on this one.

I am brave enough to give Halo 3 the 7.5 IMO the game deserves (not a bad score, but nowhere near the hype).

If Killzone 2 is a 7, I give Halo 3 a 5. If Halo 3 is a 10/10 then Killzone 2 to me is a 15/10....

What did you expect from EDGE? They are so dam harsh. KZ2 is lucky it didn't get 6 like R2.

I don't doubt that FEAR 2 deserves at least an 8, but I find it hard to believe that it deserves to score a full point higher than Killzone O_o

Just because someone gives a game a mediocre score does not mean they are biased or have been paid to do it. People are entitled to their own damn opinions just like you and me. If you don't like it that's just too damn bad. I am sick of people that believe the games they like should receive all perfect scores from every reviewer in the world. FYI, SSBB received mostly amazing scores and is so important to many people and I would give it a 6-7 because I have never liked any of those games in that series ever. Not everyone likes the same stuff that you do, get over it.

I'm not surprised, Edge are always harsh for the sake of it. It's like they're trying to show off or something. "HEY GUYZ!!!! I gave Killzone 2 and Halo Warz a 7!!!! Look at me!!!!!"

I guess they are attention whores. They probably blamed the controls and "lack of originality."
FEAR 2 was probably reviewed by someone less harsh, hence the higher score.
