OK. So a game can profit and FAIL? You have funny standards. I certainly would not want to go into business with you.

I know what you are trying to say -- that new IPs in core genres are not going to do well on the Wii.

However, for the most part, new IPs don't do well PERIOD. And certainly it takes time to build up an audience.

It basically seems as if someone has made the rules to defame a console that they do not own/like.

Failure of core Wii games has more to do with lack of marketing IMO.

If I start seeing 3rd parties spend the same amount on advertising Wii hardcore games as they do 360/PS3 games or Wii casual games..and they still fail..then I'd say you have a point.

I have yet to see one tv ad for House of the Dead Overkill or Deadly Creatures..so I don't expect either to do well.

Anyway this thread was dead from the begining, unless carnival games, deca sporta, big beach sports and so on were failures.

I feel that any hardcore game released on the Wii will fail but thats just my opinion...too many casual Wii gamers...
