I was just wandering.. such strong legs that even after a yr it is selling like crazy..

I think hardly any game for PS3 in Japan has doubled its first week sales... (exception is GT5P but its a bundled game)...

WKC has shown some promise, although its release date was very intelligently selected...

wrong, most PS3 games in Japan have doubled their first week sales - 360 games on the other hand really struggle to do so

No. MHP2G is a phenominom, because of the kind of legs it has on a system that is terrible at selling software.

Relationally, if I were to compare it to any other software on any other system I would say that it compares closest to WiiFit in terms of legs.

No PS3 game will be able to due this due to the type of game and gamers that own a PS3.

So is it due to the fact the Japanese are not interested in concole any longer and are more interested in handhelp which offers portability, mobility and fun at the same time or is it due to the fact that Console developer do not try to create such an experience on the Console... and if such a game on console comes it will sell like crazy too..

What about GT5? Previous game have proven that they can sell many time their initial week with ease, I think there is some possibilities here.

you mean games selling more than the PS3 instal base? I doubt it...

I think they are very front loaded games... will sell 60 - 70% of their Life time sales in the first week.. i m saying game selling 3x or more than its first week sale.

funnily Resistance 1 managed to sell 9x it's first week sales in Japan ^^

and Lair did more than 3x aswell

front loaded they are but i can see them getting a huge boost and quite possibly sell more after a ps3 price cut months after the games initial releases.
