They give me a sense of purpose, assurance and morality that is usually already defined through my precepts.

SciFi, you should put Roman Catholic under Christian. After all, I don't think there are different sections of Heaven...

Btw, what do u think about the new Star Trek movie?

only a couple, the Original Series is barely ever on UK tv at the moment :-p

This site has ST: TOS 2.0 http://www.cbs.com/classics/star_trek/video/video.php but it is US-only. Proxy server could work for you though.
