I rarely post here, but what the hell...I'm in a long (very, very long) relationship now, 7 years and a half, both me and my GF are both 24 year old and both in the start of good careers, we're both the best of friends but there seems to be missing something in our relationship.

When we started going out, we were just like any young couple (I was 17, she was 16), we made a lot of promises on how good our intimate life was going to be when we were ready for it and I kept hearing about how much she wants me and desires me and so on....and we're still to have any kind of intimate relationship whatsoever.

Now don't get me wrong, I could go on with the relationship just as it is. I just love her too damn much to let anything shatter that, but it just leaves me frustrated on how it seems we will never get to that point, mostly because she doesn't care about it anymore.

Am I on the wrong, wanting us to have an intimate relationship? Most of the times it seems that I am and I can't stand talking to her about it (because it leads to fighting afterwards and i'm tired of fighting about it anymore).

What's an intimate relationship mean, sex, or... ?

Not just sex. I don't mind if we don't have sex per se, but I would like to have an open, intimate relationship (were we both could share our inner desires for each other and build from that point).

You are not wrong in wanting an open intimate after so many years. That is a pretty normal expectation.

Do you have any ideas about how you can get her to open up to you?

I thought I did, but she doesn't show any kind of willigness for it and I don't want to ask for something that's uncomfortable to her. At this point, i'm pretty much stuck.

i'm just confused right now.

Ororo Munroe aka Storm of gets another ongoing solo with writer Ta-Nehisi Coates and artist Jen Bartel.  Coming soon :)

My neighbor has one of those little propane tanks sitting out in the open in her back yard. I feel compelled to shoot it so that it explodes but I have to wait until the enemy gets close to it. I've been playing too much Gears of War! Similar thing happened when I played Red Dead Redemption. I'd be driving down the road and see an animal or a bird. I'd imagine little "x's" over them and I'd want to shoot them. Is this the first sign of bat-shit crazyness?

I think today will be a good day!
