I wonder why it is so hard to do my morning bike training? I don't want to go, than once I am out there I love it. It never changes. I guess that just do it attitude has to stick in the brain.

I'm pondering something to do with Queen's Blade, actually. Something to class up this joint

Apparently Nickelodeon is showing repeats of last year's specials during matinee hours. They're showing Fred: The Movie right now. As to how this relates to my thoughts: I think Jeanette MacCurdy is wong-a-yong kong-e-wong-long, and if you don't know what that means, see Fred: The Movie!

I think I'm going to log off soon, but before I do, I think I'll tell you about the brilliant combo from the 5th gen Pokemon games I mentioned 15 hours ago. It works well on just about any Levitate or Flying type Pokemon, but it works best on Emolga and the Tynamo series. As a matter of fact, this combination is basically one of the only ways you're gonna beat an Eelektross in three turns or less with a Pokemon of near equal Level. Here it is:
Smack Down-Earthquake. Smack Down takes Ground-type resistances out of the equation, while doing a fair bit of damage, and Earthquake takes advantage of the grounding effect of Smack Down, cleaning up Emolga and doing ridiculous damage to most Levitating Pokemon (and pretty much all non-Legendary Levitating Pokemon). The reason I say most is because there is actually two reasons why a Pokemon would need to be able to Levitate, one is because they'd be crushed by Ground-types otherwise (in example, the aforementioned Tynamo series), and the other is to escape Arena Trap Pokemon (Latios and Latias come to mind). The second is exploited by roaming Legendaries, while the first is exploited by pretty much all of them short of the Latis, who would.only take base damage otherwise. *does his best Victoream impression* Well good night!

I love thunderstorms. My bedroom window looks out to one of the Pentland hills and I'm just waiting for those flashes of lightning and the inevitable downpour. :3
Huh, it looks like this thread finally has the right amount of "new posts" listed, it was in the negatives for a while there
Anyways, i've got a bit of a dilemma. I want to try studying abroad in Japan again, an opportunity i was denied due to the Earthquake, but to do so again would mean i'd have to do it in the Spring of my Senior Year, my graduation semester. Due to my special circumstances (e.g. being screwed over by geology), they'll probably let me do it, but *should* i do it? My mother says no, my dad says whatever, my friend (who also got stuck in that situation along with me) wants to do it.
Pros:
1. I definitely get to go to Japan (compared to alternatives like the Critical Language Scholarship, which i have a lower chance of getting. If i apply through my school, i will get to go, but CLS would allow me to graduate through my college like normal and still go to Japan)
2. I get to be there longer (4 months versus 2 for the critical language scholarship)
3. I would only have to take four classes (for a reason explained in cons)
4. I'd be there with my friend, if he actually goes
5. I would be able to take all the classes i need to graduate
6. Tokyo, versus Kyoto for the CLS, better city.
Cons (especially compared to trying the Critical Language Scholarship)
1. Airplane fee: CLS would fund my plane ticket, going through my school would not
2. Post-graduate job: this one's a little hazy. If i graduated, then went to the CLS, i'd be available to start any job i might get as of August 5th or so, which is the same time i would get out of my college program, so it's really dead even, just that i'd be away from campus longer, and away from potential job prospects
3. I have committed to Departmental Honors, a two-semester special research project, though given that you get January, February, and March off before you go to Japan, i could dedicate that time to finishing the project, and thus only have to take 4 classes, so it twists around to a pro
4. I don't get to "graduate" as in to walk, though i'll obviously get my degree
Pros seem to outnumber the cons, what do you all think?

As angry and depressing as you were when you weren't able to go, I totally think you should go there. It sounds like it would be a blast, and something that you really want to do.
Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.

hah, yeah. One of my mom's objections was "what if it falls through again?" (as regards my emotional state) and i said "i've done it once and lived through it just fine in the long run." If it happens twice, it'll barely faze me, though create greater complications in academic terms than it did this time
Though if that one-in-a-million shot hits twice in a row, i can be empirically certain that i'm cursed or something :P

I think I made a mistake by restarting my Pokemon White game. I think I made another mistake by risking an Audino on the GTS on the off chance that someone would be willing to provide me with a Tepig at less than Lv. 10. I think that if anybody, anywhere, would have seen an Audino they would have caught it themselves rather than rely on the GTS to obtain one. What do you guys think? Am I wasting my time?
Edit: I decided I was wasting my time, so I caught a Timburr and leveled him up to a level high enough to take on Lenora. Apparently it wasn't enough as I barely beat her the third time around. Regardless, I cancelled the trade.
