Forums - Microsoft - EA PR Confirms Mass Effect 2 PC/360

EA PR not confirming Mass Effect 2 for PS3, only 360 and PC. That's all folks. Back to a more manageable tweetstream.

Gamespy confirming the same;

At least timed exclusivity in order it would seem.

Good to hear for Microsoft, it helps them to keep differentiating themselves with more exclusives, which I'm all for! Mass Effect 2 will be AWESOME, can't wait :)

Amen to that. Mass Effect currently has my vote for best game this generation. It will be a close battle between Mass Effect 2 and Uncharted 2! I feel that I show through Alan Wake and Heavy Rain somewhere in there but I don't know enough about them.

Good news Everyone!

I've invented a device which makes you read this in your head, in my voice!

"I don't trust #XboxOne & #Kinect 2.0, it's always connected" as you tweet from your smartphone - irony 0_o

Reading comprehension test time

"EA PR not confirming Mass Effect 2 for PS3, only 360 and PC."
Which means it will definitely be on PC/360, and could be on Wii, DS, PSP, PS3 - but nothing has been confirmed yet as far as these other platforms are concerned

"One thing we do know for sure is that the game will be released on Xbox 360 and PC"

It wouldn't really make sense for the sequel to go to a system that doesn't have the original. It's one big story unfolding.

Then it wouldn't make sence for 360 owners to get Final Fantasy, the 360 doesn't have the originals like the PS1 and PS2 do, why should they get 13?

You'd have a point if the Playstation 3 could play the 'originals'. Also, the 'originals' are on Nintendo systems. Not Playstation systems, so your point is kinda bunk there too.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

It's the sequel of a game unreleased for PS3 (and PC as well) that continues the story after SR2. If it made sense for T2, why wouldn't it for EA?

When does EA's fiscal year end? I'd like to know if we can realistically expect this by the end of the year or not.

Methinks you haven't played Saints Row or Mass Effect to understand the difference.
