I disagree with , it's within anyone right to look at other people gamerscore and achievements. When I was working on Ninja Gaiden 2 achievements, trust me I check Erikers score daily! (And realize quickly I am a weak sauce compare to him).

I think it's unfair also for you to call out Erikers and other for being "nitpicking". So cheating is OK but someone checking out somone gamertag is a bad thing?

edit: I really hate having the league thread move to the Online gaming. I don't check it as often as I used to do when it was back in Microsoft 360 section.

There will be no changes to rules.

Although SleepWaker's gamercard does look suspect, with SF IV and DMC4 we will let it go.

To tell you the truth I had the same thing he is claiming with DMC4 with the original Gears of War. My gamesave became corrupt as my 360 RRoD'd at the end of Act 2 on Hardcore. I put the HD on another 360 and it said the game was corrupt but kept going. I completed Hardcore Acts 3, 4, 5 without getting achievements. At the end of Act 5 it gave me 3, 4, 5, and Domination together. And then realized I was missing the achievement for Act 2... I ended up going back and getting it later making my gamercard go out of order for the natural progression of achievements.

I think the whole problem with me this time though was that it was so much and for a really hard game (although I would call it timeconsuming). But I swear I put blood and sweat into that game, I made the promise with myself that I would finish every difficulty just like any other DMC. To tell you the truth I wasn't really happy when everything started to unlock, well in the beginning I was but soon after that I realised it looked like I glitched it ( maybe I sort of did glitch it but I meant on purpose).

Btw what do you mean SFIV looks suspect, it was just totally a complaint because he was losing, I do admit I boosted in player much playing everytime only 1 round with full handicap, but it is all easily manageable what I got. I just now doing the hard part and that are the trails, I've got almost every other challange gold but it's not going to be easy with the trails (just finishing them gives me loads of trouble).

late to the party but I can understand why Erikers raised the issue, though from judging SleepWakers gamercard, I doubt there was any gamesaving going on. Usually people that gamesave do it many times. Perhaps NeoRatt can adopt a three strikes rule. Achievements appearing out of order and offline can happen once or twice, but anything more than that it's likely the person was using gamesaves. Most importantly achievement difficulty has to be taken into consideration. Let's be honest, if the game in question was Pimp my Ride and not DMC4, I highly doubt Erikers would've given a crap.

Sidenote: did anyone else check their gamercard on xboxlive when they read NeoRatt's 80% rule? lol The only platinum I would've lost was Prince of Persia, despite that the achievements are in order, because stupid Comcast decided to mess f with my cable. As you can see it still pisses me off to this day because 95% of all my achievements appear timestamped.

And as NeoRatt said, make sure you're connected to Live as mush as possible, except for cable outages or router problems, so there won't be any question.

^^^ I play offline often because I have quite a few friends who always bug me to play Halo 3 or other multiplayer games online when I come on. If they don't see me on then I can play other games in peace :X

Most of the recent race games though should all be unlocked online though

I don't want SleepWaking out of the league personally. Regardless if he is cheating or not I thought it was tacky how everyone ganged up on him and also find it funny that people are studying other peoples gamerscore that closely.

I understand a friendly look or the league admin checking it out but just straight up studying it because someone gets their platinum out done is petty to me.

I remember several races where he had a game before anyone else and could have exploited that and instead backed off and let other people catch up. I realize everything is fishy at best but guess what, computers make mistakes. What happened to the benefit of the doubt? For the few games in question look at how many races and how many games do not show this trend with SleepWaking.

Just my two cents that no one asked for :)

I don't think anyone ganged up on him, 2 seperate people voiced their own concerns.

As for race watching, when you're in a race you tend to check the scoreboards. I check the Halo Wars scoreboard daily just to see if I'm still ahead, so its easy to see progress other people are making.

I totally understood Erikers, I mean I would be suspicious myself if something like this would occur( although I would have never bothered to find out), Ronster did tick me off though it really sounded like he was a very bad loser.

It's not a case of been a bad loser, it's a case of watching the SF IV league table closely on a daily basis and then seeing a close race between myself and Darc get derailed.

And as i said before, it would take a miracle to go from not even been in the top 6 right to the top of the leaderboard in a matter of days especially considering that some of SF IV's achievements take a lot of time, plus once you hit 690 theres the immensly time consuming challenge modes to overcome.

500 matches played on XBLA, completing the game with all characters (secret ones included) and passing a few of the challenge modes all in a matter of days is simply not managable.

And lets not forget there was still time to make a start on Resi 5 AND continue your DMC 4 quest.

Seece said it himself, he checks the Halo wars league positions frequently.

Well , i also happen to check the SF IV table pretty much after every achievement (keep tabs on the competition)

If thats wrong and that denotes me as a loser in some poples eyes, so be it.

Until i move to my new place I have a one ethernet port modem and thats for the computer, so I find it difficult to play on live. I'm getting a roouter in 3 weeks so that should eliminate that problem!

Can I ask how you checked the Prince of Persia leaderboard?  MGC links me to the arcade one and its a real pain seeing who has scored what in that game.
