Sony promised the console would be lightyears ahead of the competition.

What they delivered is something that puffs and wheezes to stay alongside the competition.

Maybe when the developers have finally mastered the C3LL, maybe when the price approaches a reasonable point, maybe when Home becomes something more than a tech demo. Maybe then I will

Good choice btw, Valkryia is worth to play b3yond for, just got it yesterday and DAMN, really great game.

I played b3yond first, then jumped in. I seriously wished I've never played b3yond first. All of my most anticipated games are multiplatform, and they perform better on the 360 or have exclusive DLC. FF XII, Tekken 6, DMC4 are on the 360 now. MGS4 was a huge disappointment. LBP as well. I'm still waiting for some traditional JRPGs on the PS3. Screw you Sony! At least Microsoft is out there working with developers and getting some titles unlike you Sony, who is just relying on brand name and blu-ray.

You tell me and the others to get a second job in order to buy your product. You tell people in a confident tone that people will buy your product even if it doesn't have games. You failed to deliver on most of your promises. I hate admitting it since the PlayStation consoles have provided me with years of entertainment, but you failed with the PS3! You can go fuck yourself Sony! Until you can prove yourself once again, I'm siding with Microsoft. 360 FTMFW!!!

Same here.  I got a 360 after talking to some of my friends who had both a PS3 and a 360.  They said what most people seem to say: more games and better play for multiplats on the 360.  It's just a better game system than the PS3 right now.  It cost me about $550 to get my 360 all in (I grabbed a few extras, plus an extra controller) so it wasn't a price difference issue at all.  In fact, having a BD player was also appealing to me because I was returning my HD-DVD player and I use netflix for movies.

But I wanted the best gaming experience between the 360/PS3, and for me that comes from the Xbox 360.

 nope... last thread I made was a crappy "Omg FF IV is coming to 360" and then after a couple minutes I realized I got duped by a dumb website... stupid internet!!

#1 Too Expensive, I figure I can get a PS3 for $199 when Sony has a firesale!!

#2 Too few games that hold my interest - Two years ago, the only game that held my interest was Warhawk.. but that's passed. Last year LBP held my interest, but everyone seems to have already got over it, so I don't seem to be missing anything. Now that leaves Valkyrie Chronicles.. and it will eventually be ported to PC anyways (yeah I went there!)

#3 (the most important one) - I live my gf, I was able to get a Wii cause its family friendly and "social"... but there's no way I would be able to get away with owning a PS3, a 360 and a Wii...

Is Kill Zone 2 worth $400 - the price of PS3 console?
PS3 only has a total of only one game - Kill Zone 2 that interests me. I have looked at the upcoming games and games already on PS3 and Kill Zone 2 is the only game I would buy. PS3 does not have enough games to interest me into buying. I can get all the games I want to play already on my two XBox 360 consoles that I own.
I will buy a Wii before a PS3 because of the platform titles on the Wii, not the casual games on the Wii. When Wii drops in price I will buy one of those in 18 months time.
