Before anyone says "Take it to the mod" every time i do they ignore me so im done with that...

But!

I was banned because my sig was too big,thats cool i agree it was but there are alo to other sigs larger than mine,and they dont get banned,Squill for instance..

 

and how the heck am i supposed to know what they mean

 

"Signatures. Signatures will be no longer than to the end of the time stamp in a single line post. Quotes in signatures are subject to the approval of the quoted member. You must remove a quote of a member from your signature if they ask you to do so. All content in a signature is subject to moderator approval. Failure to comply with these standards will result in moderator action."

 

 What does "Sigs will be no longer than tot he end of the time stamp in a single line of post" What does that mean? and i often change my Sig so i would like to know,and if it means number of characters iv seen alot of people with more words than mine.

 

I really wanna know so i wont be banned....again...

Also, people only get banned if someone reports them. If you have a problem with someone else sign length report them.

I don't report people if they are barely past the limit, but I will report people who are past the limit.




If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

Mine would fit for real if it wasn't for that damn space inserted over the Tag -- it started happening in Firefox (IIRC) and IE a while ago. I don't think it happens in Safari yet.

But anyway, they're not going to go after you for being a LITTLE over. Just a lot. And yes, some people have sigs way too long and haven't been banned for it, but they're just pushing their luck, like the people going 20MPH over the limit. You were still going 10MPH too fast so it's not like the cops can't justify pulling you over.

I just fixed it. You know how you can see the HTML in the text box while it's loading in IE? Well, it's automatically inserting p /p tags which add to the space. But if I go in quick and remove them, and then save the changes before it finishes loading, then they're gone, and no added space.

i had the same prob. i didn't no wat that all meant "Signatures will be no longer than to the end of the time stamp in a single line post."

so i just made my sig smaller than the biggest out there i got a warning and the mod explain the time stamp so i fixed it i don't get Y u didn't just erase some of ur sig b4 they banned u until u figured it out

Didn't no that other members report them i thought the mods find u now that i no that i'll be sig length hunting there are alot that are over the limit

@OP,

Some mods are more active than others in terms of how often the log on, if you send a message and don't get a reply you should try emailing mods@vgchartz.com.  Or alternatively you can just PM me to begin with since I'm around on a fairly regular basis...and in this instance I already have a graphic to explain this exact question!
