Ok in every thread for KZ2 I read an xbot(out of respect and courtisy) xbox fan screaming that Gear OW2 is better looking. Well duder, as much as I think it is impressive looking I give my hand to KillZ2. Here is an officle Xbox 360 website claiming that KZ2 is better loooking.

Official Xbox 360 UK Magazine: Killzone 2 Looks Better Than Gears of War 2

Even the official blog of the Xbox 360 UK magazine anticipates Killzone 2 as something special.

“It’s good. Really good in fact. this is the genre that has belonged to the 360 since its inception, but it finally looks like Sony has an Ace in its deck. Visually, Killzone 2 is quite something - besting even Gears 2 in the motion-blurred grey battleground stakes, and the weight and purpose of everyting from the weapons to the characters is somethign to behold.”

The end of the article even adds a Halo ODST remark:

“it’s hard to judge whether Killzone 2 will switch up its speed and set pieces enough to enter the Pantheon of truly great shooters. But for a first impression - wow. Halo ODST has a lot to live up to.”

To be honest with you I haven't seen any xbox fan down play Killzone 2 graphics.yea it's not ultra high crysis good but on consoles it's superb

^ most forums I jump into there is usually one fan in there. Like I said not implimenting anything bad about GOW2 I just think it is a little over kill when they get compared.

I've always though Gears 2 graphics are overrated. I don't see what's so amazing about them. RE5 graphics amaze me more than GeOW 2.

Final Fantasy XIII will probably be 360's best looking game when it comes out.
