^^ Interesting. I'm surprised I've never seen Kinder Egg/Surprise here in the states. Perhaps I haven't looked hard enough.  Are they good?  I don't much like intensely sweet confections, as a general rule.

The chocolate of Kinder Egg/Surprise (aka Kinder-Überraschung aka Überraschungsei aka Ü-Ei in Germany) is not really good imo, but sometimes I buy some Kinder Eggs for the surprise (...and throw them away a few minutes later). There are even people who collect every single one of those surprises, the most extreme collectors have several housands of them and build their houses around their collections of tiny plastic toys. People talk about their hobby on Ü-Ei websites (e.g. http://www.ue-ei-portal.eu/ ), they exchange, sell and buy these toys like stamps. It's hilarious.

OT: Lindt is my favourite chocolate.

- Caramac
- Kinder Maxi
- and this tasty white chocolate which had melted white chocolate in the middle which I bought at a petrol station and havent been able to find since : (

They're not sold in the States because the little toy inside that you assemble is considered a choking hazard.  We get tourists up here in Canada looking for them all the time.  Pretty good chocolate but the toys are what people are really after.  I do like the Kinder Bueno bars.  Creamy hazlenut filling in those mmmm.

Favourite chocolate personally is Fazer.  Their Weiner Nougat with slivered almonds in particular. (and that Weiner as in a person from Wein ie, Vienna.  Not weiner as in a hot dog.  It's hard to think of a less appetizing combination.)
