Why is everyone asking if they are popular on VGChartz (mine was real life so it dosent count) and people leavign and complaining their not popular enough on here?

Has VGChartz become High School where popularity is important?

You started a popularity trend. Asking about real life, and not VGC life got people to thinking about VGC life popularity. Does popularity matter to anyone here (real life and in VGC life)?

So Im the cause of my own complaint.... :O

It's not high school - we have a bar! You of all should know that :P

Other than that, I think this is something that happens when you feel you've been on the site a while...

I mean, look at it like this.

"I've now posted 1000 times, and been here for 3 months. That's 11 posts a day... I average 1 hour on VGChartz a day. Excluding sleep/work (or school), I have 10 hours of time. I spend 1/10 of my time here.

That causes people to wonder if others actually like what they post here.

Then they see a thread about it, and go post there. From there, it just accelerates.

I don't really care if I'm popular here... A few people think I'm nice/fun, and I think the same about them. That's what matter, not 120 other people I really know nothing about. I'm nice to them too, but if they care about being popular, I don't care about them liking me :P

I think Noname 2200 said it well.

After 3,500+ posts, I can confidently say that about eight people on this site know who I am. 

My school had a bar..........but people only did pull ups on them :P

My school (college) had a realy bar last year that served beer... not anymore :(

Do you picture the bar, and put our avatar around in it?
