I think this deal is a good deal for people who haven't bought an HD TV and are thinking about getting one,,,also PS3 is one of THE best blu ray players,,,so they are getting a very good deal.

What a novel idea for them. If you have blueray is the box, then market the system to people who want blueray.

This is a good deal, but Sony should have been pushing the HDTV/PS3 connection day one.

If it were me, the PS3 would have been sitting next to every Sony hdtv day one, in best buy and all stores. I'd even try to have them sport a ps3 with blue ray movies playing next to their blue ray movie section.

On a side note, I think a game like afrika, mixed with some high def national geographic stuff, would be the perfect thing to have playing itslef on loop in one of these areas.

Even with the 360 + HDTV
Plus a 32" 1080p is not worth it
1080p is worth it on 42" or bigger

Its probably not much of a saving for most people considering you can get a bigger TV for less. Yes I know theres a difference but for most people its inches / dollars.
