Forums - Microsoft - For non-PS3 owners only ...

No!!..........................

Not because it is, or is not "insert fan-boy reason here". My reasons are, (1) I have a stand-alone BR player, and (2) I already have enough games between my 360, Wii, and PC, that the PS3's exclusive do not warrant the cost.....even at a $349 bundle price tag as the thread title indicates (IMO).

The only....I say only....game that made me want a PS3 was FFXIII, and we all know how that turned out. 360 was/is my HD console of choice. Wifey loves the Wii more than I. I am an RPG guy, and as a 360 owner, I have never regretted it....I love it. Purchasing an additional console mind as well come with a set of divorce papers.........XD.

No b/c I know how many devs hate the PS3 and I abhor its architecture.

Do you realize how your post makes you look?  Seriously..I'm not trying to be funny or joke in the least...do you honestly realize how your post makes you look?

Like a snotnose or a fanboy?  Either or I don't care what the PC talking lines say about me   I transfered to GMU for Comp Sci from the Art Inst of Wash for Game Art and Design so I know what I am talking about.

PS3 is based on heterogeneous platform and is 'nothing' like PC. It would be fun to play around with CELL, but making anything bigger is pain because of assymmetric nature of CELL.

(To play around with titles, I will be soon master of univer... err... (computer) science ^^)

And for topic itself...

No, because I am waiting for cheap enough PS3 to buy only for learning programming purposes(And for movies maybe.). Currently theres no single game I am interested on PS3. (Well, it  might never be cheap enough.)

PS3 controller is way too small and unconfortable for me too, but you can always use other controllers. I did like logitechs controller.

Probably not. I think that $350 is too expensive for a console, especially when the games being packed in are probably games I wouldn't enjoy (exception being Little Big Planet). Also, at this point in time, there aren't very many PS3 games out that I am interested in, so it just seems like it would be a waste to spend that money. I would probably just buy some more DS/Wii games.

I have a degree in Digital Entertainment and Video Game Design..and you don't really sound like you know what you're talking about. But if that's the best excuse you can come up with not to get a PS3, it makes me feel good about MS fanboys. They're just running out of reasons=P And I own both systems btw.

I would probably bite with another 50$ price cut added on to that.

Money is tight, and i'm still playing games I just got! (Not to mention I have about 5 on the backburner) Oh, and I got to buy new brakes for my car.

And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... I need this. - The Gaming PC and PS4, and Xbox 360, and thePS3's . Well what are you looking at? What do you think I'm some kind of a jerk or something! - And this. That's all I need.

Obligatory dick measuring Gaming Laptop Specs: Sager NP8270-GTX: 17.3" FULL HD (1920X1080) LED Matte LC, nVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M, Intel Core i7-4700MQ, 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3, 750GB SATA II 3GB/s 7,200 RPM Hard Drive

I have very strong gaming PC (I'm PC fan after all) and 360. I don't want to spend more money on another console, cos I don't have time/money to play/buy all good games I want. Do you have idea how may hours you need to finish games like Total War

yes i would but i would just sell it back for a profit if i could

Nope, maybe a Killzone 2/God of War(if the hype from that Jaffe dude is correct) bundle would do it. But I don't really want to pay for a blu ray player when I already have one. I wouldn't really download anything so I wouldn't want the hard drive. And I would connect it with a cable so WiFi is not needed. I wouldn't want to pay for any of those things. Maybe if they dropped the price.
