Forums - Gaming - PS3 exclusive Killzone 2 hits #2 on Amazon's pre-order list

I am one of those who pre-ordered on Amazon. Its pretty sad to see the state of gaming these days though. Super Mario Tennis? Really? Who the hell is sitting on the edge of there seat in anticipation for that game?

casual market > core market. always.

mario name > some dude with red eyes name (+all other names). always.

it is not quality that sells most. it's the target market + the name.

Whilst I might agree with you it's taboo to make fun of anything Wii related...the Mario Boys don't like it.

Play.com---> Pre-order chart  1. Killzone 2 2. Sims 3 3. SF 4

It's doing britty good.

Probably the tastiest part of the Killzone Cocktail is the Multiplayer. Imagine if Call Of Duty 4 and Team Fortress 2 had a baby, which they then abandoned and as a result had to learn a few new tricks to survive. That’s what Killzone Multiplayer is like.

LOL

The fact that Mario power tennis is the no.1 most pre-ordered game on this list makes it a sad sad time for Gaming

If done right, Mario Tennis could be amazing amounts of fun.

Oh, that's right. I forgot that we're not supposed to have fun. It's all about the bloom and grey.

You can't really trust that list because I don't think the ps3 version of SFIV will sell more.

That said, KZ2 is now the bestselling item on ebgames.com

"WAR is a racket. It always has been.

It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives"---Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler

By saying this you are insinuating that we're not having fun playing because of a color scheme?

No, I'm saying that people who make fun of a game because it doesn't offer the latest in visual orgasms are missing the point of gaming.
