I have a bad feeling about this
Cuz underworld movies sucked
Hollywood should just leave videogame adaptations alone

first "Chris Morgan, who wrote Wanted" this is not something good, that movie sucked.

second nothing can touch LOTR and saying that just make him look silly and when the movie comes out even if is good people will say is not because he said it was going to be in cinema heaven with LOTR.

First off, don't insult someone's writing and then say that nothing can touch LOTR.  The dialog in the second and third movies is absolutely horrid, and the adjustments to the story are unneccessary and dumb.  Regardless of LOTR fanboy talk, the movies are not the greatest thing on earth.  Not saying that Gears movies would be good(Len Wiseman is a studio stooge), but don't keep putting the LOTR trilogy on a pedastal for things that it does not deserve(writing, dialog, etc).  The trilogy did however provide a grand sense of scale with epic battles.

Two Towers was sub-par and Return of the King was decent. Fellowship was the shit though.

I'd agree here, though I might put RotK closer to sub-par. Fellowship is easily the best out of the three. The other two are overrated, IMO.

Same with Underworld. First one was pretty cool, the second was awful.

It's hard for me to see Gears of War becoming a movie, let alone a whole damn trilogy. Just because the game was awesome doesn't mean it will translate well into a movie...

As long as its as epic as gears 2, i dont care who directs!

I hope my 360 doesn't RRoD

Why don't people stop with the video game movie stuff, I'll never know. All they are doing is destroying the reputation of a beloved franchise (most of the time).
It works like this: if you're a filmmaker, you don't respect videogames enough to make a serious effort, and if you respect videogames enough to make a serious effort, you're probably not a good filmmaker.

Quem disse que a boca é tua?

Qual é, Dadinho...?

Dadinho é o caralho! Meu nome agora é Zé Pequeno!

Please don't use the word "Gears" and "Lord of the Rings" together ever again.

that sounds good ! what kind of crack do I have to use to make that kind of connexion too ? Let me try it... Oh yeah ! Crackdown the movie will crush the Godfather. That's good shit

well atleast it isn't uwe boll.

Check out my game about moles ^

Oh good grief. LOTR movies were decent adaptions of a massive work with real depth.

Gears is a very fun but dumb videogame with a totally redundant plot, a half baked setting and nowhere to go as a movie but try and rip of space marines from Aliens yet again.

Heck, the real game in Gears is multiplayer, not SP anyway (or co-op).

But you gotta admire the balls of someone with not one great movie to their cedit (hell maybe not even one good movie if you want to get really critical) to say their videogame adaption is going to be on a par with LOTR.

Also, what difference does grittier make? Does grittier automatically mean better? Would LOTR movies automatically be better if they were grittier. Guess Len thinks yes.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
