Too my knowledge leo, there is no such thing as a AAAA title, if there is, its 10 and only 10. The PS3 currently has nothing close, the 360 has bioshock, gears, mass effect and two fantastic JRPG's in LO and ES.....did someone say Halo 3? But even then, none of these will come close to 10, 9.8 for bioshock is the closest in my guess, maybe high 9's for mass effect. To my knowledge, the only 10 on record was Zelda: Orcarina of Time on N64

Uhh, no. The 360 has Gears and now Bioshock. Halo is next month, mass effect and LO later.

Should we start naming games that will come out this year? I'd rather not.

Ocarina did not get perfect scores from everyone.

Bioshock will get better scores than this, sorry leo.

^ I didn't go far, mind you.

bingo

So if the reviews for this game are great can you guys shut the hell up?

No offense.

No he i was saying bingo because leo said this would be a AAAA titles, and xbox didnt have ANY. Now i dont see HS getting a 10/10 so im guessing AAAA is 9.5 and above in his book. Now again we have a few games above this currently and they are for (guess what ) XBOX 360 woot!

BUt i agree the best thing to have said was "bioshock will most likely get better scores than this sorry leo"

                 With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

Game trailers-Halo 3 only dissapointed the people who wanted to be dissapointed.

Bet with Harvey Birdman that Lost Odyssey will sell more then Blue dragon did.

@windbane

Just as many people who HAVE played the demo claimed it was a pretty looking buttonmasher as claimed it was a good game. Take a glance through the HS forums on this site and you'll see im right. I was interested cause i wondered if it was worth buying a PS3 this yr on universally great HS reviews. They didn't come, it was 50/50 at best, so im not. And this review clearly states that KEY GAMEPLAY AREAS such as bosses, enemy variation, lack of secrets and poor collision physics are LACKING. The point is these reviewers have said that gameplay was lacking even if they didnt mean too. They clearly care more about graphics than anything else.

 The demo was a year old much have changed from them.

And I am really surprised that people can judge a game when they played a demo
 that was only  10 minutes long

@Windbane
Well to each his own when it comes to Motorstorm. I think on Wikipedia the scores listed are limited to major reviewers. At any rate the average is 83 so opinions on Odin Sphere differ greatly.

The demo was the GDC one, and you've now seen 2 reviews give it a 9 and 10.

But hey, judge away at minor flaws that you are overemphasizing.  I guess reviewers shouldn't list a complete assessment so people don't pick apart their reviews.

What is all this crap about "AAAA"!  A game is "AAA" only if it sells hardware.   A game may have high review scores, but the only thing that matters is if the game causes hardware to be sold in large numbers.  That is what makes it "AAA".

And a 9/10 is a great review.  How can people complain if they have never even played the game?   I hope the reviews are as promising from the sources I trust (& can read ).

What do you guys think, when will we have the first AAAAA game?

Next generation when the PS4 taps the 5th Dimension and Mr Mxlyplyx starts his own development company.

i remember 1up gave PDzero glowing reviews when the 360 1st came out. look at it now lick a little over a year later, and it looks like a n64 game. i wish these people wouldnt be so gung-ho about their reviews, people are going to look back in 5 years and go "uhhh, that site has no credibility, they gave lair a 10 because it has AWESOME GRAFX ..."
