Final Fantasy Crystal Defenders R1 coming to PS3

Square-Enix has confirmed that it will be bringing Final Fantasy: Crystal Defenders to the PlayStation 3. For those unaware, Defenders is a mobile phone game released originally released in Japan before eventually being localized in English for the iPhone.

Crystal Defenders R1 is a tower defense style game much like PixelJunk Monsters. The title is based in the Final Fantasy Tactics A2 universe, which is a Nintendo DS release. Although the game is only scheduled for release in Japan, it is likely that Square Enix will plump for an international release considering it has already been localized.

If and when the downloadable title is announced for North America, we'll be sure to let you know.

Okay ? well if they up the graphics it could be kewl. I'm guessing it's going to be a psn release.. i really like tower defense games so.. if it's good and if it looks good i may just get this :p
