It's a much slower game. If you like the quick pace of UT3, don't expect anything like that here. I'm not saying you won't like KZ2, I just mean that I don't know. Supposedly the closest shooter to KZ2 is COD and you don't have that.

You just sound more confident in how much you like Star Ocean. Most of your points about KZ2 won't hold up after five minutes and aren't really reasons to spend $60 on a game in my mind when it's your only $60.

Well obviously you don't. If you preferred JRPGs you would have suggested the JRPG since the quality of each game is entirely unknown at this point.

 

 

 i am thinking its going to go 39.99$ it can wait more time than killzone 2 >_>, and i didn't suggest for that reason we don't know how good Star ocean 4 is, but if it's the same star ocean 3, don't expect anything good besides the battle system.

also they are more pros with killzone 2.

@Onyx- I see.... i dont like the CoD games, but not because of its gameplay, more of its vibe, i dont like war-related games that come close to history. Truth be told I dont like UT3's battle style that much compared to other FPS games, its WAYYYY to damn fast for its own good, i mainly got it for Final Fantasy VII mods and it waas cheap lmao!

@Jo- Are ya saying SO4 will drop to $40 soon-ish after its released?

Star Ocean is another mediocre Square-Enix game for the xbox. We've seen plenty on them in the last month.

Killzone 2 is shaping up to be a true masterpiece, one of those few games that live up to the hype... Besides SO4 might be another disappointment in the JRPG style... So I'd take KZ2

Wait for SO4, if the game is good, you still can buy it a few months later when the price has shrunk

We have? How many mediocre Square-Enix games for Xbox came out in your alternate reality of January?

@Seraphic-Just wait for reviews to start coming in. Maybe one will bomb and make your decision easier. If they both perform well, just flip a coin. Most likely they'll both be good games and there won't be a wrong choice in the matter.

UMMM I wouldn't be too sure about star ocean being another mediocre RPG but there is a chance of it being another 1 seeing the past games square made but I would still go 4 killzone 2.
