YES. I suggest you watch till episode 04 called Walkabout. If that episode ends and you dont want to see what happens next, I dont think this show is for you.

Lost is my 2nd favorite show ever.

Plus, the show already as so many memorable characters. Desmond, Mr. Eko, Charlie, Sayid, Hurley, Ben of course (brilliantly acted, has Emerson been nomianted for an Emmy yet?)... once you know their backstory and see it all play out, damn!

Be aware of the lackluster 2nd season though, it picks up again after that and becomes a complete mindfuck again from season 3 onward.  

Black - He was nominated for the third season along with Terry O'Quinn (Locke). Terry won.

Orange - Actually, the problem was that it dragged along for a while, so waiting a week for the next episode was annoying. Seeing the whole 2nd season in one go makes it a lot better.

And yes, the 3rd season finale is the biggest mindfuck ever. It completely changed what the show was about in an awesome way.

WHAT. If that first episode didn't hook you, and the idea doesn't interest you, you probably won't like the show. Everybody I have made watch this has been hooked from the start.

And what was with when (wierd sentence there) Locke say that old guy in the chair he thought was Jacob who whispered "help me" or something? Hmmm.

Yeah. That was weird. I am starting to think that the cabin was the place where the man in black was imprisoned (remember the ash circle around it that was broken in the finale?).

I dont know why Ben would think that is Jacobs house (when he took Locke there in season 3), but Richard said that Jacob lives in the foot of the statue.

Remember that "Christian" told Locke to move the island. So Im thinking everything thats been hapening since the end of Season 4 was the man in black plan.

I dont know why Jacob didnt do anything against him. I guess the whole Jacob visiting the characters in the past was his way to do it.
