I'm gonna pass. My 360 is too high up in my entertainment center(approx. 5 1/2 ft. high) for me to have wired controllers dangling. It's a shame because they look awesome.

Fine fine...no silly excuses next time we fight in street fighter tho :)

If one of the fight sticks are wireless, or there's another one on the market that is, I'll splurge on that.

Oh and E. Honda is the man! Don't you people discredit him! Bans will be due for discreditors!

All sticks (as far as I know) are all wired. However, the PS3 version of these gamepads are wireless and are said to work equal as the wired 360 ones, no input lag.

Yeah but there's no way I'm getting this on PS3. My entire Street Fighting community of friends is on 360. Even the VGChartzers I have on PS3 don't play SF2THDR.

I only have it for 360. It would be much easier on my wallet if you just bought a 360 and re-bought SFII so we can play together.

It's suck the way MS handle their wireless licensed.

why would you bother getting a gamepad for SF4?... oh right, this must only be associated with the 360 version.

Anyways, I'm pretty sure the joystick is not that THAT much more expensive than the pad. I'd personally go with the stick if I were playing SF on my 360.

Other than that.... Madcatz TE stick ftw!

@SnakeEyez: Add me on your PSN so we can play some HD turbo, I'm mainly a Tekken player, but SF has grown on me lately and I play it more often.

It's not just associated with the 360 version. If I were getting SFIV on PS3 I would definitely pick one up because the buttons are placed correctly for six button fighters, the D-Pad is bigger which I know would help me with my half and quarter circles, and there's a nifty turbo button.

hrmm, then I guess it must be experience for me. I've been using Sony's controller for SF since Alpha and I'm just used to pushing R2/R1 button for strong attacks or L1/L2 for 3p/3ks. As far as the Dpad is concerned, I honestly don't think it can get better than the rough Dpad that Sony uses, it gives you blisters, but it's precise. Besides, I've always figured that a smaller Dpad (or tighter stick) was always better since attacks come out quicker.

Anyways, why not just get a stick?

Well my 360 is really high up and right in front of my set, so dangling wires will get in the way of enjoyment. I can see about lowering  the console and putting the PS3 up there though.Maybe I will just pick up a stick and call it a day. SF is unbearable on the 360 controller.

As far as D-Pads go, I prefer Nintendo's brand of D-Pad. It's also precise but doesn't leave the blisters. Obviously that's not an option though. I grew up playing SF in the arcades, and half the time at home with sticks, so I've gotten used to the placement of buttons going in two rows of six. I occasionally forget to use the shoulder buttons when I play with a regular controller.
