Forums - Sony - If Microsoft pay, we'll write another "Sony is Doomed" article

I am not saying Microsoft is paying people to bash Sony. I am saying that some internet media is corupted and that is ready to bash any company for some money. Microsoft can always use 7th world power in its darkest hours  (which is NOT now) I mean, Microsoft already owns MSNBC which doesent seem to like PS3 that much

Here is MSNBC praising LittleBigPlanet:

Is there any particular MSNBC article you didn't like? Please share.

''So do you want another "Sony's Doomed" piece? We'll be happy to contribute to the pile of doomsday articles if you want to read it, or even better, if Microsoft want to show us some dollar.''

This shows that some media is corupted and that is ready to bash other companies for some money. And we all know that Bill Gates can buy every media in internet

Didn't you read the part I quoted before?

"And no, don't get overly excited, I'm not implying that Microsoft is paying publications to diss their competitor, but it's obvious that they're benefiting in the internet battle."

It seems the author is confused as to whether he thinks Microsoft is paying or not.

Come on man, everyone is out to make a few bucks.  And the easiest way to draw attention to yourself is to start bashing someone or something.  People enjoy reading these types of articles for some reason and this sells magazines/articles.   It is how it has always been, and will be.

But the article in your thread is a very poor way of getting your point across.

I agree US media propaganda has been getting out of hand for quite a while and with regard to the 20% YOY sales drop for November it's no different.

Even with a minimal amount of research any media could have figured out the PS3 the year before just had a new model introduced together with a price cut. For the whole of 2008 the PS3 didn't have an actual price cut on entry pricing, of course including the holiday season.

Yet year over year sales were up 38-40% for the US for the whole year in total. So IMO the 1/5 drop for just November is not enough to turn into a blind doomsayer.

Naughty Dog: "At Naughty Dog, we're pretty sure we should be able to see leaps between games on the PS3 that are even bigger than they were on the PS2."

PS3 vs 360 sales

So you don't have any example of a MSNBC article bashing the PS3, or at least remember some such article?

my point is that if you see articles like ''Sony is doomed'' or ''Microsoft is doomed'' on internet don't beleve them 100%. Do i need to draw you that?

Who is idiotic enough to take anything on the internet at face value 100% of the time? LOL

I do I do. I saw the screenshoot on youtube video ''360 song'' but i can't remember which since there are over 100 videos with that name. MSNBC didn't bashed during 2008 because it was ''the year of PS3'' but you should see their blogs from 2007.

Yes, of course. The swathe of articles critical of Sony is a vast conspiracy funded by Microsoft, and not, oh, a response to the fact that the company as a whole is doing horribly and likely to post billion dollars losses within the week.

I sense that just about everyone in this thread read only the title and not the article.

How sad.
