Forums - Sony - If Microsoft pay, we'll write another "Sony is Doomed" article

Microsoft would never stoop to such levels!

So when Sony today or tomorrow details their restructuring plan, and when on the 29th they announce multi-billion dollar losses (probably adding the need of further restructuring), are they also getting paid by Microsoft to make the company look like it's doing bad?

Btw check out this quote from the article:

And no, don't get overly excited, I'm not implying that Microsoft is paying publications to diss their competitor, but it's obvious that they're benefiting in the internet battle.

So why use that title for the article in the first place? Might we be engaging in the same sensationalism we're complaining about, author?

What exactly is the point of this thread?

Microsoft paying people to write ''Sony is doomed'' articles.

Come on, this is basically a joke thread.

hey don't blame me. I saw the article and i tought it would be interesting to post it on forum so people can talk about it.

@ snake - Well to be honest, if someone had given their opinion piece a deliberately shocking and attention grabbing title, that was then contradicted in the closing paragraphs. I would consider it trash, and not make a thread about it, hence removing the dilemma of picking a thread title

This is exactly why I asked what the thread was about, and yes it is a JOKE thread.   Apparently M$ pays anyone, and everyone for saying something bad about Sony (except for me).  WHERE IS MY DAMND MONEY M$????

''So do you want another "Sony's Doomed" piece? We'll be happy to contribute to the pile of doomsday articles if you want to read it, or even better, if Microsoft want to show us some dollar.''

This shows that some media is corupted and that is ready to bash other companies for some money. And we all know that Bill Gates can buy every media in internet

Didn't you read the part I quoted before?

"And no, don't get overly excited, I'm not implying that Microsoft is paying publications to diss their competitor, but it's obvious that they're benefiting in the internet battle."

It seems the author is confused as to whether he thinks Microsoft is paying or not.

Where exactly does this show that the media is corupted?   It shows me that the author of the article is corupted and he shouldn't be trusted at all.  So it fails in nearly every way.

I am not saying Microsoft is paying people to bash Sony. I am saying that some internet media is corupted and that is ready to bash any company for some money. Microsoft can always use 7th world power in its darkest hours  (which is NOT now) I mean, Microsoft already owns MSNBC which doesent seem to like PS3 that much
