Forums - Sony - Sony Wireless Keypad = $11.00

lmfao.. ya I know not what you were expecting.. but come on... It's $11.00.

As long as I can type when an MMO come out and it saves me $39.00 while doing it.. I'm happy..

Blazepro PS3 keypad is cheaper, hideous

The tech ninjas at Blazepro may know a thing or two about cutting prices. When it comes to corners, though, not so much. The peripheral manufacturer has released its own Wireless Keypad for the PlayStation 3, sacrificing sexy contours for a much lower price -- $11 compared to $50 for Sony's curvier official model.

Still, as the saying goes, you may get what you pay for. The boxy clip-on communicates with the PS3 using a 2.4GHz USB dongle rather than the console's native Bluetooth capability, and doesn't look to come with any sort of rechargeable functionality whatsoever. We can't help but wonder if the savings are worth it, even with the promise of a "leap-frequency communication solution" and "strongly anti-jamming" qualities. If you do decide to take a chance, though, let us know what you think. Just be careful of those edges.

Kind of hurts my eyes, though

I would still go with the Sony one, I got screwed over too many times with cheap non-official accessories so now I always buy Sony's stuff.

To me the Buttons are the key, I have big hands.. from the pic these buttons look a tad bigger....

When I'm playing a game, I'm not looking at my controller, meaning I don't care if it was pink and bedazzled by some 5th grader. If it does what it's supposed to do for $11.00 it's a no brainier...

Why not just buy a keyboard?

well..... If your holding you controller, how long do you think it will take for you to get sick and tired of putting down your controller and picking up you Keyboard and typing a reply, then picking up your controller and moving a few steps before starting the process all over again.. and for a reply like  "lol" of all things..

Simplicity.. It's what humans strive for.

Also: It's $11.00.
