Actually, bundling a popular game usually has the opposite effect - it stimulates sales. Most people don't necessarily have a fixed budget when it comes to games or media in general, so when they get that shiny software in the box, they try it out. Usually, they're favorably impressed, and get hungry for other titles. Same thing with the PS3's HDMI and BluRay capacities - you might not think you need them. But once you see them in action, jaws drop, and the might-buy turns into a must-buy. Motorstorm is also a great title for bundling, because it has multiplayer, so that gets people using PSN.
