As we all know the Ds will get its very own Gta called China wars which will release in March so i was just thinking how well will it do and will it become more popular and sell more than Liberty city stories on psp of course just by the name it will sell and the huge install base of Ds but how much can it do.

Liberty city stories have sold more than 5 million.

I think that Chinatown Wars will outsell LCS based soley on the DS install base. There are twice as many DS owners as there are PSP owners, so the game should so quite well. Also, as far as I can tell, a lot more work went into making Chinatown Wars the best game it could be. LCS didn't seem like it took as much effort.

I don't think that CW will outsell LCS... I dunno why but ... not sexy enough, unknown franchise for nintendo gamers...

 Perhaps but just by the name Gta it will sell alot.

I think it'll alienate a lot of GTA fans that want the console experience of a third person game. The bird's eye view could very well be a hindrance for the game, even though it was necessary. I don't think it's selling five million but it will do well.

I've just checked Call of duty DS numbers ... Now I don't even expect one million for this game.

Yes I do. I think there is more heart being put into this entry trying to make it unique.

Interesting...So considering the effort and resources put into it, surely they expect Chinatown Wars to eclipse Liberty City Stories sales?

Well, I hope so. If you're in any way interested in GTA: Wii, buy this game, as this seems to be the testing of the water for GTA among the expanded audience.
