Im not saying the review isn't real or that the game isn't great. But the reviewer called Gears 2 a high school production...that set off a few fanboy bells in my head.

Usual fanboy behaviour - Whats the best way to hype an exclusive game? Bring up the competitions best looking game and say it is crap compared to the one you are reviewing...

hey guys... i review for that site. The site was down for maintanance.

The reason why it was taken off is because of the embargo. We cant post the review before 2nd Feb. The review is totally legit, we were able to obtain 2 copies via Sony.

I guess Gears of War 2 is not that good either, it also got a 6.3/10 from many readers of Metacritic.com

I agree with you Disolitude, it reeked of fanboyism. It still bothers me though that they gave Gears 2 such a high score only to call it something so mediocre in another review -_-

Resistance 2 got a 5.6.10 from many readers of Metacritic, over 1,435 of them. I guess that game sucks. It got more votes than Gears 1 or Gears 2, talk about a popular game that everyone felt compelled to bash 'cause it was so bad... 1,435 dissapointed PS3 owners, that's a lot....
