I don't see how anyone can claim that dvorak is not superior. For those who do not know, dvorak is an alternative layout for the keys on your keyboard that is designed to be more efficient than QWERTY (the keyboard layout most people use).
I have to use both QWERTY and Dvorak at work. Anytime I have to use QWERTY, it feels slow and cumbersome. On Dvorak, a lot of the most commonly used words are typed with most of the keys on home-row. On QWERTY, your fingers are running all over the keyboard. Also, I thought the story was that QWERTY was designed the way it was to slow down typists because they were typing so fast they were jamming the typewriter heads.
Anyone else here use Dvorak but still has to use QWERTY regularly? Doesn't it feel akward when you have to type in QWERTY?
