You're missing my point there. You said eating seal was the same ( = ) as eating shit then to explain you bring out that nobody (0) eats shit and that hardly anyone ( any number greater than 0, let's say a 100) eats seals. So:

0 = 100 is false so it's not the same.

There is nothing wrong with that opinion.  You must be willing to concede that someone that kills a seal is a normal person, and not satanic, evil or demented in some way.

But I just think eating cows it way differrent than eating a seal. Only like 2 places eat seal, I've never met anyone that eats seal, and I've never been to a resturaunt where seal was on the menu.

1. Moose meat is fucked up too.
2. I don't snack on it constantly and I don't cheer on animal killers for it though.
Your argument here is that since it's not a popular world food source, it's disgusting and wrong to eat.  This is OK for an opinion on personal preference (that is, what you would find disgusting and not want to eat) but it's totally wrong to take your personal tastes (or global popularity of a given food) and claim it constitutes some kind of moral imperative.

And nobody is forcing you to look at pictures of seals getting clubbed.  But both of these things are happening. 

Anyway, it sounds by the tone of your voice that you think my parenthesized argument (at the end of the post) was nonsense.  You are right, it is a totally illogical argument that I based on your own arguments that you derive from your own kneejerk reaction and emotional personal opinion of seal hunting. 

In any case, you've overlooked the bigger point, which is that "Your argument here is that since it's not a popular world food source, it's disgusting and wrong to eat.  This is OK for an opinion on personal preference (that is, what you would find disgusting and not want to eat) but it's totally wrong to take your personal tastes (or global popularity of a given food) and claim it constitutes some kind of moral imperative."

And you also seem to have overlooked an even BIGGER problem with your stated position (see below). 

I do think its disgusting and weird to eat. It's my opinion. If you enjoy eating seal thats your business, but please don't force your beliefs on me. If I think they are fucked up evil people THATS MY OPINION, if you can't handle an opinion I don't know what to tell you.

 My sig says that "Everyone is entitled to his own opinion, but not his own facts."  I believe in that.  It seems to me, however, that you have been saying that your opinions ARE facts.  If this is not true -- if you will admit that you have no sound factual basis for your opinion -- then I withdraw my objections, as you are entirely entitled to believe whatever you want.  

P.S.  I have never eaten seal, nor even know anyone who has (AFAIK).

It doesn't count because it's "nature"?  Your proposal involves HUMANS deliberately introducing predators that will GREATLY increase the suffering of dying seals compared to human hunting, and therefore HUMANS will have indirectly caused that suffering, but you're saying it's okay and in fact better than the more humane killings by human hunters because animals would be doing the dirty work? 

Is that really what you want to say? because that's what you're saying.  And if so -- you're entitled to have that opinion but I want to know if you have a rational justification for it.

i'm not judgeing, i'm giving you sound advice. your opions are your own and that's fine, i won't shake you of them. What i am telling you, is that if you take the opions that you have made it clear that you have into nature, your most probably not coming back.

The bolded is the only part of this argumennt that I needed to hear.  The key word is "think" and as long as you stick to that belief you will remain as ignorant as a zealot.
