I say the government removes restrictions on seal hunts. That way, we can like have one great hunt off. And then there's no more seals to hunt after. It works for both parties. Hunters get all the seal meat and or (more importantly for me) luxurious fur and then afterward the clubbing stops. It's a great plan. I think we should do this with everything.

Personally, I think its fucking crazy that governments have to regulate industries because the industries are too short sighted in their profit goal. Like Cod for instance. I think the government should remove all seasons and bag limits and haul limits, and let the private sector regulate themselves. (I tried telling the police that I would enforce the law on myself thank you, didn't work).

Point being, I'm probably a misanthrope and want to see a really bad scenario occur.

I personally don't think that the private sector is capable of regulating itself, so we need government involvement.  The thing that really bothers me is that plenty of the government regulations are based on opinions of people that have little to no knowledge of what is going on.

OK, so not "satanic rituals", but "performed satanic acts".  And you don't understand why people are jumping on your opinion?  Do you feel the same way about everyone who works in a slaughterhouse?  Did you look at all those pictures MrBubbles posted?
You are twisting my words, I said its satanic as in EVIL. No I find cows and chickens different. It's a seal, WHO FRICKEN EATS A SEAL?

 By "twisting" your words I suppose you mean I assumed you actually meant the words you said.  Even so, you've only objected to that one term.  Would you agree that "You (and Xen) called them cowards, fucked up, demonized them and told them basically that they [committed EVIL acts] without even so much as hearing them out first.."? 

And again, your position boils down to that you simply aren't used to that particular animal as being hunted.  Hindus would feel the same way about cows that you seem to feel about seals, and with better reason (religion as opposed to kneejerk but they're cute! reaction).  Just because it's an unusual animal to hunt doesn't mean anything. 

I can give a damn about hearing out these cruel hunters. Anybody that bases animals skulls in daily is cruel in my opinion.

So you think seals should be extinct. Nothing should have to go extinct.

They aren't humans they are animals. Human's do it try and feel important and can only pick on seals.

These animals are only feeding on seals in certain locations, and it is naive to not think humans have to fit into the ecosystem as a predator.

Referring to the seal populations in the St. Lawrence and Gulf of the St. Lawrence there are no natural predators in that particular ecosystem.   I cannot say the same thing about the regulated seal hunts that occur in the other countries.
