I find it funny how all the women here follow on one stereotype (we require love, attention, warmth, security) while all the guys pertain the other stereotype (they want money, and a huge schlong.)

Like most discussions there is probably a middle ground...

Nintendo Fan Girl, stop being inappropriate. You're a good friend, but when someone your age (that isn't a boy) says something like that, I get a bit disturbed.

Girls obviously find some of the things mentioned so far important. Looks, money, penis size, etc. The main things girls want to know is if the guy is well connected. Does he have lots of friends? Is he social? Does he know interesting people? Does he participate in any group activities? Obviously these things become less important with age. But girls, in the end, just want to see if the guy is...cool.

cool? maybe in high school... money has nothing to do with it either. personally, all i want is to know that i make someone happy :)  ...but, that's just me.

Well my apologies then. I'm speaking from experience, since I found my current relationship in highschool and I'm currently in college. I think most women at least want to know that their man is well connected.

im currenytly still with my 1st boyfriend - who i started going out with 4 and a half years ago in school too, and im at uni now - i didnt care about how many friends he had. i appreciate that your partner might have cared about certain things, but as a girl, who talks to other girls about these things, i think im slightly better qualified :P true, the girls you hear about care for superficial things - connections, material possessions, money etc. but i know many more who would rather make their own of all those things. and just remember guys, sex ain't everything ;)
