Microsoft owns the IP, EA can't release it without Microsofts permission.
Same thing happen with goldeneye, microsoft owns the game and company rare, but nintendo own the IP, so neither can release it without the others permission.

Ok.  Well I think this would turn into a bigger deal considering Mass Effect was looked at as one of the new heavy hitting franchises for the box.  But we'll see.

to be honest with you I think 3rd party exclusives are dead this gen,,,I fully expect MGS5 to be multiplat.

EA might whore this franchise (meaning to port for extra money) to the PS3, but it will surely be a bad port. The 360 will be there primary platform they choose to make the franchise on. PS3 will just get a left over port of the game and there PS3 fans can be happy :)

The rumor is true I guess, we just need a confirm release statement that says its coming to the PS3.
