Sorry,but there isn't any big and exciting 360 exclusives announced for 2009 yet.Maybe you should wait for E3 to see if Microsoft will have any great titles rather than Halo3:ODST for 2009.In the meantime,you can still get a 360 for Gears and Halo3,or play Killzone2 on PS3.

I would not be too excited about Alan Wake... First because we almost know nothing about the game. Second because it won't be released in 2009.

Did you get to play Ninja Blade demo?...it´s from From Software, isn´t it?...their games are usually 'meh' (imo)...you think this is a pleasant exception?

Game won't win awards at Spike awards(thats probably a good thing) and the production values are not breaking records but its fun to play. Control is great, the ideas are neat and the boss fight included is better than anything found in ninja gaiden 2 except for the last few bosses. Its not going to be as deep or as satisfying as ninja gaiden 2 but it should be just as entertaining. I predict a solid 7.5/8 on metacritic... From software did do meh games lately but they also did Otogi on the original xbox and that was awesome.

So I should wait till E3, then decide?

both are exclusive and will be released this year. Okay the ultimate confirmation for Forza3 is missing but the guys working on the menu already said this.

Horror / Survival

Horror is not a huge genre anymore. Alan Wake is my most wanted though.

Action Adventure

• Ninja Blade
• Splinter Cell
• Ninja Gaiden I / II (released)
• Fable2 (released)

Fable2 is a great mix of RPG and Action Adventure. Should give it a try. Ninja Blade looking quite nice so far.

Shooters

• Huxley

We don't know much yet, MS doesn't talk about their lineup as early as Sony. BioShock2 could be a (timed)-exclusive. If you like GTA IV, of course there will be GTA IV: The Lost and damned.

there are many factors that should influence your purchase.

- Is 200 bucks for an arcade a lot of money for you?

- Do you live in the States and are you a member of netflix? Would you like to be?

- Do you have a group of friends that game on the 360 that you could play with?

- Do you see anything int he 360s catalog you want to sink your teeth in to?

- Will your PS3 keep you busy with gaming for the next little while? will you have time to play another system?

The bolded points are the reason why I don't own a ps3 yet. 399 is too much for a gaming system for me. I dont care about bluray. All my freinds are on the 360. Don't know more than 2 people with a ps3 and those own a 360 too. And there are jsut so many 360 games that even if I got a ps3, i wouldn't really give it a fair shake.

Halo Wars, Star Ocean 4, Ninja Blade, Halo ODST, Splinter Cell Conviction and Alan Wake. I would say Mass Effect 2 but that's just been rumoured for the PS3. I think MS will also reveal Crackdown 2 and Forza 3 for the end of the year. If none of these interest you, there's still a lot of good games from 2007/2008.
