But Age of Empire's didn't have the word 'Halo' in it. This automatically spots Halo wars about 2 million sales. In the end Starcraft 2 will win because Blizzard fans are as crazy as Halo fans but this is Blizzards home turf. It would be like a starcraft shooter going against Halo 4.

I agree with the first 2 bolded

Third one not so much. Both the original Command & Conquer and Red Alert are better games In my opinion. Same goes for Warcraft 3 and Universe at War: Earth Assault. (Which is one of the best rts ever made period. Very underrated)

I agree Starcraft beats all. (I know some strange people who prefer Warcraft 3, or AOE something, etc... just like some people think Nijabread man is a great platformer). Everyone is entitled to whatever opinion they have, no matter how strange it may be.

Am I the only one who is a little worried that Starcraft II might not be as great as the original Starcraft? I think each version of C&C went down hill as it added complexity. I'm a little worried about the tech tree, game balance, etc... All the camera controls are cool to look at, but just get in the way of the game play.

I will get SC2 no matter what, as I am sure the single player experience will be fine. I just doubt that the multi-player will be as good as the original.

Age of Empires games usually sold over 2 millions... If Halo Wars sells 2 millions it only proves that it's losing sales compared the to AoE series.

This has got to be a joke thread, Starcraft II will tear apart Halo Wars in sales and quality.

talking about play value, not FMV or Hero characters etc.  and also only talking about online.

no one plays rts for campaigns.



Last year's game of the year turned out to be Silent Hill : Shattered Memories (online GOTY was COD 6).  This year's GOTY leader to me is Heavy Rain.

totally agree, its like sayin sonic beats mario, or mortal kombat beats SF2.  (if you think these things, you have problems)

but yeh very paranoid they can't replicate the awesome feel of starcraft, here's hoping tho
